Research is underway for a better understanding of the mechanisms of the drug use and whether the effects are more local or systemic, meaning it may work for some cases but not for some. ED afflicts a lot of men, and being a very sensitive area, tends to go unnoticed for many years. Links between ED and heart problems are proving that they may be early indicators of circulatory problems so the earlier men seek help, the better it is to determine any underlying diseases that may be present.
