22.jpgTestosterone is the central sex hormone produced by the male body. It is first and foremost accountable for producing and preserving the characteristic adult male attributes. During puberty, testosterone kindles the bodily changes to differentiate the adult male, such as growth of the penis and testes, development  of facial and pubic hair, intensifying of the voice, boosting muscle mass and strength, and progression in height. It helps in maintaining sex drive as well as the production of sperm cells, hair patterns, muscle strength, and bone mass. Produced in the testes and from the steroids emitted  by the outer layer of the adrenal glands.
